Constantine (3*):  2 to 3 feet

A chilling and numbing south easterly wind is whistling across the fields to meet the smaller surf face on this morning, the sky a wintery grey, the sea reflecting only slightly bluer.
One to two to occasionally three foot waves are majestically unfolding their way to shore, hollow and peeling peaks stretching across the bays, the usual spots looking appealing. It’s smaller than it has been but is still fun looking and shreddable!
And it should warm up soon enough too!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

Harlyn is still more sheltered from this wind and so it’s a quieter and calmer place to be this morning but the sea is as smooth and as flat and as calm as can be.
You won’t be surfing here this morning but there might be just a ittle more action by this evening!

Surf Forecast for Monday 15th April 2019

Another cold day of howling offshore winds but with a stronger and hopefully bigger swell pushing its way against it.
We would be enjoying a fairly sizeable day of surf if that wind wasn’t holding back that swell but we are still likely to be enjoying a decent three feet plus of wind hollowed surf.
It’s going to feel cold again though!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Those screeching cold, offshore winds of the weekend are going to blow themselves out through Monday to be replaced by a boring north westerly through Tuesday before settling to something more pleasant for the rest of the week.
We should be enjoying lots of smooth, clean and pleasant surf in the two to four foot size range all the way through midweek and into the weekend with loads of pleasant weather too but we have a day or two of not so great stuff to endure before then!
So the week should start out with some solidly churning, wind-hollowed surf being replaced by onshore mush for a day or so before smoothing and calming and being much more enjoyable (and warmer!) as we go towards Easter weekend.
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
