Surf Report for Sunday 15th July 2018

At 6.05 a.m:

Constantine (2*):  2 feet

Yep, it’s another gorgeous summer’s morning with another blue, blue sky above us stretching from one horizon to the other. The air is still, the temperature warm and….. there’s a couple of feet or so of gentle but very surfable little waves poring themselves onto the high tide bank at Constantine.
It is promising to be another fabulous day down on the beach!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

Harlyn is doing its high tide thing this morning, a picture postcard scene of early morning tranquility, the deep blue sea caressing that golden sand.
Little swell lines can be seen shuffling through the high tide depths, not quite enough to break but showing that there is surf on the more swell exposed beaches.
But if you’re thinking of dragging out SUP or Kayak, then it would be hard to better this!

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  14:15  (0.7m)              High Tide:  20:11  (7.7m)

Surf Forecast for Monday 16th July 2018

Light, light onshore winds are likely to be drifting in from the north west today, ruffling and lightly slopping the two to three feet of rolling surf. There might be a little cloud cover through the morning but that should soon disappear to allow a sunny afternoon with a very fun two to three feet and bigger of rolling surf to play in.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

We might just see some surf this week, not that immaculately smooth and neat and shiny, tiny stuff of the last few weeks but something a little more lumpy and thicker and bigger.
Yep, by Monday we should be seeing a couple to three feet of very lightly onshore wind slopped surf rolling onto all of our favourite surf breaks, the weather just a little cloudier to start.
We should be enjoying a decent three to four feet of rolling surf by Tuesday, the breeze light and onshore, not strong enough to make too much of a mess of things but not allowing that crisp sharpness that we were getting used to over the last several weeks.
And that should be the way of it for the rest of the week, the swell easing off just a little as we go into the back half.
It will be nice to enjoy some waves that you can actually drop in on and we shouldn’t lose too much weather just yet!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
