Constantine (3*):  3 to 4 feet

A milky blue, clear, clear sky is revealing a magical sunrise as a mighty golden dawn reflects off the shimmering beach frost this morning.
The air is still, reverberating only to the rifle shot explosions of breaking waves as a tidy four foot swell slides into the bay.
Glassy peaks are unfolding all over the two bays at low tide, a promise of so much better to come with the tide.
And there’s not a soul in sight….. Yet!

Harlyn (3*):  2 to 3 feet

A fairly magical morning is unfolding at Harlyn this morning as the relatively warm ocean meets the sub zero temps of this frosty air.
Glassy two to three foot waves are whip-cracking across the low tide sand, a romantic haze just adding another level of loveliness to the clear blue sky and golden sunrise.
It’s a good day to be loitering on the coastline!

Surf Forecast for Monday 20th January 2020

A new swell should be gliding our way today, the lightest of offshore breeze just keeping those solid swells groomed immaculately. With more bright and clear winter sunshine cheering and drying our sodden coast and a thumping head high plus, mid teens swell, today promises to filled with surf magic!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Those of us who have had to put up with the last few months of incredibly tedious weather without giving in to the Indo temptation are about to cash-in our rewards this week!
Light offshore breezes will be manicuring and soothing a lumping great groundswell as it pushes and growls its way onto our jagged and ragged stretch of coast.
Big waves, bright sunshine, calm breezes and clear skies should sooth our surf aching desires all week long.
So just wax down your quiver of favourite boards, chuck your wetsuit in the dryer and head for your favourite surf break. It should be pumping all week long!
(Legal warning!: Constantinesurf does not advocate the use of heat generating drying devices in the care or maintenance of any wetsuit (Ooh! But it is nice to slip into a warm and toasty dry suit in winter though, isn’t it!?!)).
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
