A beautiful spring morning is spreading along the coast this morning, a milk hazed blue sky reflecting lightly off the azure sea.
If there were any waves it would be quite special but unfortunately right now there’s barely a ripple to disturb its silver smooth surface.
Well, I say that but every few minutes there is a glassy little six inch peeler zipping off the Point, maybe indicating a bit better for later? It is forecast to pick up just a little but we might have to wait for the tide to push that in this afternoon.
Harlyn (0*): Flat
What light breeze there is is drifting onshore at Harlyn this morning, lightly chopping the surface of an otherwise flat sea.
There’s no surf here today and very little over on the other side either.
Still a nice place for a wander as long as you keep that distance from anyone else!

South easterlies should continue to smooth and gloss the sunlit sea today but the surf is going to be real small at best.
A foot or two of peeling little stuff at the most wave exposed spots at just the right stage of tide – maybe.
Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week
Nature might be playing a slightly cruel joke on us over the next little while as the weather settles into a very pleasant, bright and springlike pattern for a good little while.
And just as we all settle into this strange new routine of self distancing and isolation.
South easterly breezes should continue to brush against the sea, a new and solid little groundswell expected to arrive through Tuesday morning to provide a more than decent three to four feet of very well spaced and peeling waves all day long.
That swell should last well into the end of the week, the offshores remaining all week long as a lot of long awaited sunshine hopefully provides some feeling of well being along with a little flush of vitamins.
But don’t forget to keep your distance if you are tempted out!
