Constantine (0*):  4 to 5 feet

It’s another gloomy one this morning but the wind is quieter and the air is mild so there’s something cosy about it all too.
And there’s that same rolling swell bering wind battered and chopped, four to five feet of grey and churning waves bouncing to the beach in the drizzle and sizzle of a typical winter’s day.
Harlyn is probably going to be the place again today!

Harlyn (3*):  2 to 3 feet

A couple to three feet of grey but smoother and hollower surf is crashing onto the sand as the tide quickly drops out at Harlyn this morning, the wind gusting across the bay from a west sou’ westerly direction.
The sky is grey and murky, visibility low, the wind more side shore than offshore but all of the forecasts are showing an improvement.
This afternoon’s tide should show some building swell as the wind eases its way to a slightly more southerly direction.
It could be real fun this afternoon!

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  11:58  (1.0m)              High Tide:  17:50  (7.6m)

Surf Forecast for Thursday 19th March 2015

Another gloomy day is likely to be waiting for us today, the breeze still from the south west, the swell still mixed up and bundling itself onto our main surf breaks in a mess while Harlyn provides a fun two to three feet of smoother surf to play in.
And the wind should ease to a breeze as the tide rolls in through the afternoon, making for much more user friendly conditions.

Surf Conditions for Christmas Week

Christmas week is looking really very promising with Santa throwing some smallish but very pleasant swells our way while the wind backs offshore through Christmas Day.
Two to three feet of smooth and fun surf should be peaking over our main surf breaks all day long on Christmas Day, the breeze drifting up from the south and south east, gently drifting offshore on a clear if colder kind of day.
And as high pressure settles over us the days should become clearer and brighter, the breezes light and offshore, while all the time a steady little three foot swell continues to roll onto our preferred surf breaks.
And that looks like the way of it all week long, next weekend maybe showing another front coming through but otherwise a week of pleasant and fun surf and weather conditions await!

Have a very Merry Christmas and a fabulous New Year, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
