A shiny silver canopy of sky is blanketing us this morning, all snuggly and cosy, if a little damp and only a bit chilly.
A couple of feet or so of weak looking and slightly sloppy surf is shuffling ashore, the light onshore (sou’ westerly) breeze tipping those wobbly peaks over sooner than expected.
The surf might just build a little through the day but the wind is likely to continue onshore while the weather is likely to stay a little uninspiring for most of the day.

Jo & Co Home have a new website launching today at www.joandcohome.com.
Jo has a little shopfront at Hawksland (next to the fabulous Strong Adolfo’s Cafe) and is just launching their online outlet! So if you’re thinking of staying home awhile and maybe having a freshening up of your own cassa then you might want to take a look at www.joandcohome.com for some coastal inspiration!

Sharp and shiny little waves are glistening into the bay this morning, that breeze gently blowing offshore here.
But the surf is tiny here this morning, a foot at the most, all smooth and glassy and shiny but tiny!

Surf Forecast for Monday 25th July 2016

We can expect another three foot swell with mainly westerly winds blowing lightly onshore through most of today. That light wind could just slip a little to the north through the afternoon but it should stay fairly light for most of the time, at least allowing those bumpy waves to break with some direction.
And it could be a little uninspiring weatherwise today too, not bad but not great either!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Steady onshores are going to breeze our way through this week, that same rolling three foot swell being delivered into our bays and coves in a tired and confused lump of surf.
Our main surf breaks on the more western facing beaches are likely to be showing three feet of sloppy and bumpy surf for most of the time and that’s where the action will be for most of this week, the surf being too weak to get into our more sheltered spots.
A week of mixed weather conditions awaits too but it should be mostly pleasant enough to enjoy some fun times at the beach but don’t forget to take your waterproofs as well!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
