At least there is some brightness shining around the place this morning!
It is still a bit chilly out there, the breeze continuing to drift down from the cold north, the north east this morning. But the sky is gradually clearing and there are plenty of blue spaces to reflect off that calm sea.
And the sea is really calm right now, well, actually it’s as flat as it gets!
So it doesn’t look as though we are going to get much (any) surf here at all today.
If the wind stays calm then it might be fun to have a SUP paddle but the wind is offshore, so take it easy if that’s what you decide to do!

It is pretty much flat around here today too.
There are gentle ripples teasing their way to the beach, leftover wash from a week or more of onshores but there’s nothing much to ride!

surfforecast

Surf Forecast for Monday 7th September 2015

We could just be in for a period of flatness starting right now!
The sun should sign and the breeze will be calm but we are likely to see nothing more than smoothness in the sea today!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

That High Pressure system looks as though it has finally wrestled control of our weather from those shallow fronts of the last week or two and so we should be in for a period of settled, calm and very pleasant weather. But be careful of what you wish for because this time around the sea is going to be calm and settled too!
It looks as though we are in for a period of flatness lasting for at least a couple of days as we go into this week.
So we should be enjoying light offshore winds, plenty of September sunshine but a sea of flatness.
Until midweek anyway.
And then it should be fabulous!
The back half of the week is looking very classy indeed!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
