Constantine (3*):  3 feet

It’s a beautiful morning down in the bay this morning, the marine layer of mist and sea fog is quietly burning off as a kaleidoscopic sunrise goes mental on the far horizon.
And a very decent three feet or so of glassyish surf is looking a little out of practice but is doing its best to appeal with some bouncy high tide peaks shuffling onto the shorebreak.
The breeze is forecast to stay light, the sun seems to be bossing those clouds away and the air temperature is feeling really pleasant.
And even though it has taken more than a couple of hours to wake up my computer, leaving this early morning surfcheck more of a lunchtime special, conditions should only improve throughout the day so #gosurfnow !

Harlyn (2*):  1 to 2 feet

A foot or two of crumbly but quite fun looking little waves are peaking across the high tide shorebreak here this morning that huge sunrise lighting up the valley as high tide gradually gives way.
It is beautiful here this morning but the other side has bigger and better surf today!

Surf Forecast for Monday 9th October 2017

Light westerly breezes are going to add a little ruffle to the two to three feet of otherwise fun surf that should be pushing in all day today.
With a mainly dry day forecast and those superlight breezes it might just end up being better than expected!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

West going south westerly winds should settle in this week, supporting some well travelled swells that are likely to be swinging into our bays from way up north.
Starting out quite small through Monday, increasing in size gradually through Tuesday and with some chunky swells rolling our way into Wednesday, that thick, rolling swell should waken Harlyn up by midweek.
Yep, a week of clean and fun three to four feet plus Harlyn barrels is waiting to be played in this week, the weather staying kind for most of the week too!
I’m away for a while next week, so no surf report for ten days or so!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
