It is one beautiful day today and the surf is pumping!
Four feet plus of clean and lined up, smoothly organised swell is sweeping into the bay this morning, all lit up by a stunning sunrise.
The weather is set to be sunny and fine with the wind staying offshore (south easterly), while the swell should continue to rhythmically pulse our way all day long.
If there is one day this year when you really want to go surfing, it is likely to be today!
Enjoy.

There are little waves rolling in here this morning too.
A couple of feet of clean but more crumbly surf is washing ashore on the dropping tide, that peak towards the middle of the bay spinning some lovely waves off to the sides.
It is likely to improve with this afternoon’s tide but then so too is the other side.
And it’s the other side that is going off today.
Four feet plus of offshore groomed surf is pushing through on all of the west facing surf breaks, so you can just take your pick of any of them to go surf on today!

Surf Forecast for Friday 11th September 2015

More clean and organised smoothly peeling surf is likely to continue rolling our way, the wind just twitching a few degrees more towards the south and the swell pulling its wave-period in just a little.
But it is all looking very good indeed for another fabulous day of surfing.
the weather might break down a little but the surf should make up for that!

Surf Conditions for the End of the Week

I hope that you have made the most of those few days of flatness at the beginning of the week because that has changed!
We are already enjoying an evenly spaced and smooth, long distance swell which built throughout Wednesday.
Three to four and then five feet of offshore groomed and immaculate surf is rolling through under clear and sunny skies and that swell should be with us for the rest of the week, that high pressure only reluctantly sloping off to the east.
Yep, a few days of wonderful and cheery surf should be cheering us all up as we enjoy those long waited September sessions!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
