Constantine (1*):  1 to 2 feet

It’s a little chilly and overcast out there this morning, still with that summery feel to it but not quite the surround-a-sun of the last few days.
But the waves are starting to show with a foot or maybe just about two of steel blue peaks bending and curling across the usual breaks.
The air is still right now but a freshening sou’ wester is forecast to strengthen through the day and so we are expecting those little waves to double in size by this evening’s high tide.
It could be a fun day of playful little surf today.

Harlyn (1*):  0 to 1 foot

Tiny little waves are trickling across that pre-high tide bank this morning, a frustrating tease of six inches or maybe a foot of almost peeling little wavelets racing ashore.
The wind and the waves should strengthen as we go through the day and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some waist high, offshore hollowed little screamers thumping onto the sand here by this evening!

Surf Forecast for Friday 24th July 2020

Light westerly winds are going to be shepherding three foot of playful, bumpy surf into our bays today, making for some fun surf at our main breaks but probably too small to be of any interest at the more sheltered, cleaner spots.
That warmer water makes a difference when its choppy though.
Days that you would easily pass on during winter suddenly become fun!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

We can expect a bit of a weather change for this weekend, those settled conditions of the last few days being replaced by something a little breezier and maybe just a bit damper too.
South westerly winds will be blowing in three feet of fairly close-fetch windswell through Saturday, those waves perhaps not getting big enough to travel all the way around the headland and into Harlyn Bay where conditions would be cleaner and offshore but being okay enough to provide some bumpy summer fun surf at our main breaks.
Sunday’s surf conditions will be similar with maybe some slightly bigger waves tumbling through during midday along with some brighter weather too.
So, a mixed weekend but with plenty of fun surf and hopefully enough pleasant weather to make for a summery feel!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
