Constantine (2*):  4 feet

The wind has eased this morning, a thick cloud blanket of greyness almost within touching distance while the air temperature is so much milder than it has been.
It’s a cosy, grey old January day.
The surf is okay though.
There is that high tide wobble effecting the three to four feet of bumpy but otherwise fairly glassy surf, so things should improve a whole lot as the tide eases its way out for a still big almost seven metre tidal drop.
Get on it soon if you can though, that nor’ westerly wind will be back by mid afternoon!

Harlyn (2*):  3 feet

A couple to three feet of bumpy little surf is washing in on that big high tide, the odd one trying to spin off the Rock but finding itself too deep on the seven and a half metre tide.
Give it an hour or so and there should be some small but fun little waves to play in.
Get in quick though, those cold onshores will soon be back!

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  14:07  (0.6m)              High Tide:  20:01  (7.5m)

Surf Forecast for Friday 25th January 2019

The three to four feet of rolling swell is going be chopped and slopped by the return of a gusting north westerly wind this morning.
The south coast will be the only option for some clean surf but it could be real small over there.
Otherwise it’s the usual corners and headland-sheltered spots for some bouncy reforms on this coast!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A breezy and overcast weekend is waiting for us with enough dampness about to keep us guessing.
Saturday should see a brisk west sou’ westerly wind blowing along a thick and lumpy three to four foot and building swell.
Harlyn should be the place, maybe starting out smaller in the morning but producing some thick and hollow ones by evening.
Sunday should see some wild surf with a hard blowing north westerly wind blowing more cold wind our way..
The surf, although really big is likely to be completely blown out all along the coast. It’s looking like a south coast day for sure with hopefully some clean ad bright, hollow little ones over there.
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
