At 6.30 a.m:

Constantine (4*):  2 to 4 feet

That was a bit of a downpour during the night wasn’t it!
But this morning is dry and still and calm and peaceful, a hazy sky making things cozy, the air mild and comfy too.
And the surf is clean and smooth this morning, a couple to three feet of grey glass walls with much bigger sets curling into the bay, that peak just over in Booby’s looming large before exploding across the sand.
And the hazy, almost misty air has that brightness of a trying sun.
Yep, it is all very atmospheric this morning, filled with the promise of better to come!

Harlyn (1*):  0 to 1 foot

The air is still over at Harlyn, the sea smooth and glassy and almost flat.
Almost flat but not quite.
Sets of one foot waves are swinging into the bay but only very occasionally. And even less occasionally a couple of feet of smooth and glassy waves are walling up before crashing onto the sand. If you are dead set on surfing here be prepared to wait for those rideable waves.
They are there but a long, long way apart!

Surf Forecast for Friday 25th May 2018

And on it goes!
The surf is likely to be a little weaker today but still very enjoyable, more in the couple to three feet and fun range. And the breeze is likely to stay offshore through until the afternoon sea breezes take effect during mid afternoon. But they should start light again, just making those waves a bit fatter.
And then, of course, there’s the evening glass off to look forward to again.

Surf Conditions for the Spring Holiday Weekend

A bright and cheery, sunny holiday weekend is waiting for us this weekend with only quite small but very pleasantly shaped surf to play in.
The breeze should be light and offshore all the way through, the surf is likely to be in the two feet range but clean and sharp and fun, especially as ether should be loads of warming and cheering sunshine on offer all the way through!
Ah, isn’t it nice when it all comes together!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
