Surf Report for Thursday 3rd January 2019

At 8.30 a.m:

Constantine (2*):  1 to 2 feet

It is always nice to get back home, even if we have had a good time away.  And it’s especially good when there’s a small but pleasant little swell rolling in being shaped and moulded by light offshores.
Yep, the waves are small this morning but as pretty as a picture. A foot or two of peeling and curling little waves are spilling across the bay beneath a silver greyish sky, the breeze light, the air crisp and the sea as clear as glass.
It looks like longboard heaven over at mini Mali-Booby’s!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

There’s no surf at Harlyn this morning, not a ripple!
But the mood is calm and peaceful, the empty beach enticing, the smooth sea beckoning.
It could be the place to paddle out on the SUP this morning?
Or just a swim.
But there’s no surf here today!

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  09:48  (1.9m)              High Tide:  15:44  (6.7m)

Surf Forecast for Friday 4th January 2019

More small and clean surf is expected today, maybe a little bigger than Thursday but still very small. But those immaculate conditions are set for the day and we might even see some pleasant winter sunshine too!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

The breeze should stay light for most of this weekend, swinging more onshore through Saturday, settling to the west south west for Sunday.
But hopefully we shouldn’t be bothered by more than a little crumble and a bit of a bump on the bigger waves that we can expect.
So we can expect more clean and still small surf to start out on Saturday morning, going a little crumblier and bumpier through the afternoon but with the signs of some more solid swell rolling in.
Sunday should start out with a pretty decent couple to three feet of only lightly slopped surf with bigger sets staring to show themselves through the morning.
Harlyn might just start to show some small be really clean surf by Sunday afternoon, at least allowing a choice of sizes and conditions.
It is looking like a fun weekend ahead with calm conditions and plenty of fun surf to play in!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
