Constantine (0*):  4 feet

That sniggy north westerly wind is gradually easing back this morning, only slowly and it is still chilling and blustering but it is calming.
In the meantime those cold gusts are toppling and chopping the four foot swell, still tearing chunks out of any walling waves that get too steep.
So the surf isn’t that great and the weather is still a little mixed but give it a few hours (or more) and that wind will have changed direction allowing it all to improve!

Harlyn (0*):  3 feet

The wind isn’t gushing in as hard as it has been at Harlyn this morning but it is still fresh, still from the North West, still cold and still destroying the surf conditions.
But we should be seeing a windshift through this afternoon with lighter and milder south westerlies making more welcome appearance. And, of course, sou’ westerly winds are offshore at Harlyn too!
So, small but fun conditions should entertain us here this evening!

Surf Forecast for Friday 5th April 2019

South easterly breezes should be grooming a couple to three feet of smoothly rolling little swells today, allowing all of our favourite surf breaks to come alive!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Light offshore, easterly, breezes are going to be settling over us for the foreseeable, providing beautifully smooth sea conditions for all those frothing Groms who will be kicking down the school gates this weekend!
Yep, the Easter school holidays are upon us and our winter-quiet and dormant bays are going to be shaken into a new season soon enough, the lifeguards already purring into action, ready to keep an eye on the strays, the pubs and restaurants and guest houses and businesses painting and sweeping and dusting and cleaning.
There’s always an air of expectancy at this time of year as the first real wave of visitors wash our way.
And what a welcome they should enjoy this weekend with small but perfectly shaped little waves peeling our way for a good few days to come!
The weather might live up to its ‘April showers’ tradition but we should also enjoy plenty of bright and pleasant suff in amongst it all as well!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
