Yes, yes, I know; a super late one again. But doesn’t that tell you something about the surf!?
So, a few hours late but no worse for that, here’s today’s surf report:
It’s pumping, #gosurfnow!
Yep, the sky is blue, the temperatures are high and there’s four to six feet of smooth, rolling surf focusing in on Booby’s. The breeze is light and offshore and all together it is looking like a fabulous day ahead of us!
Actually, the breaks here aren’t as good as they should be under these conditions.
I reckon that the swell is too thick for the dropping tide making the paddle out a bit of an ordeal. But within cycling distance (there might be a crossword clue there somewhere) there are several breaks that are pristine and perfect!
The incoming tide should produce some more epic conditions for this afternoon too!
Have a great day!

It’s all breaking a little weird around here this morning, as if there’s an onshore wind bothering it (the wind is actually a light south easterly breeze, straight offshore).
That’s probably the strength of the swell pushing against the dropping tide making for a bit of a swirl.
So that should improve with this afternoon’s tide.
But right now there’s a good three feet of crunchy lowish tide sandpunchers to do battle with, if that takes your fancy!
Expect a decent three to four feet of smoother glass caverns on this afternoon’s incoming tide!

Surf Forecast for Friday 6th May 2016

Smaller surf and greyer weather might greet us today but the breeze should continue to breath offshore and the swell should stay big enough to be of interest.
Three feet of glassy offshore surf – that’ll do nicely!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Smaller waves are likely to be occupying us this weekend, the breeze light and from the south east, offshore and set to stay that way for the whole weekend.
So, a couple of feet of peeling and clean surf in some gorgeously warm weather throughout Saturday, maybe just dropping to more of a longboard glide for Sunday.
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
And don’t forget the suncream!
