Constantine (1*):  0 to 1 foot

Those deluges of last night seem to have eased for a moment to leave a heavy aired, still and mild morning with some brightness trying to push through.
And there’s a tiny wave being absorbed by the high tide depths. A foot or so of squeaky clean, glassy little peaks peaking over the too shallow reef, maybe suggesting a shin high longboard session for later.

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

Harlyn is basking in stillness and solitude again this morning, the air still, the sea still, the rain quietly falling.
There’s no surf here at all this morning but what a place for an early swim or paddle.

Surf Forecast for Friday 10th September 2021

Westerly winds are going to be blowing in some lumpy windswell today, a fun couple to three feet of bouncy and mixed up surf being expected at all of our favourite surf breaks.
It is only going to be close-fetch and choppy, very summery kind of surf but hey ho, it should still be fun!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A low pressure system will be introducing a change to our weather this weekend with a brisk onshore, westerly breeze expected through Saturday. So we should see more chopped and slopped but fun and warm little surf throughout the day. It’s unlikely to be the sharpest or cleanest of surf but after weeks of almost flat conditions we are not going to be too picky over any surfable waves!
By Sunday that breeze should have dropped and will probably have switched offshore again, a light south easterly drifting against the tiny but solid little swell. Although any waves are likely to be a foot or two at the very biggest there is a long wave period to them so it might well be worth dragging a longboard out, if you pick just the tight time when the tide is on our side.
And then there’s next week.
And that is looking very special. Very special indeed.
The surf forecast sites are going to be racking up those five star predictions – if only for a few hours or so!
But that’s a long way off yet.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
