At 7.35 a.m:
Constantine (2*): 2 to 3 feet
Another dull and dreary early morning is starting off today, the wind gusting in from the south west and so a little milder than those north westerlies but still onshore here!
So three feet or so of crumbly and ruffled surf is rolling our way under a grey and threatening sky. This wind should push more swell our way, maybe enough to get Harlyn excited by this afternoon?
I’m out of here for a while so no Surf Report from these fair bays until the end of next week!
Harlyn (2*): 2 feet
A foot or just about two of fairly clean but weak looking little waves are trickling ashore here this morning, the steady south westerly blowing offshore and making it a fraction bigger to look at. Give it a few hours and we should see those little waves strengthening while the wind is likely to stay kind to it.
this evening on the incoming tide will be best!
No surf report till the end of next week!
Today’s Tide Times:
Low Tide: 15:31 (1.3m) High Tide: 09:04 (7.2m)
Surf Forecast for Wednesday 11th October 2017
A Harlyn Wednesday is likely to be waiting today!
The wind should be south westerly, the swell should be thick and rolling and who cares about the weather (although it should be mild enough!). Four feet of long travelled lines should be producing some solid and hollow waves all day long at Harlyn!
Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week
West going south westerly winds should settle in this week, supporting some well travelled swells that are likely to be swinging into our bays from way up north.
Starting out quite small through Monday, increasing in size gradually through Tuesday and with some chunky swells rolling our way into Wednesday, that thick, rolling swell should waken Harlyn up by midweek.
Yep, a week of clean and fun three to four feet plus Harlyn barrels is waiting to be played in this week, the weather staying kind for most of the week before warming right up for a scorcher of a weekend!
I’m away for a while next week, so no surf report for ten days or so!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
