It is a stunner of a day with bright skies and sunshine, a light breeze and some perfect little waves peaking along the coast.
There’s a decent couple to three feet of oilly smooth and glassy little swell lines gliding ashore, the breeze not much more than a breath drifting offshore, just helping to hollow those peaks as they spill forward.
Yep, it looks like a day of gliding along on some hollow little waves under lots of pleasant enough spring sunshine!

It is almost flat here this morning with only six inches to occasionally maybe almost a foot of weak and lazy looking little tiddlers gradually washing ashore.
It is a beautiful place to spend a little time especially on such a bright and clear morning, those white, fluffy clouds looking as though they have been painted onto the sky as an afterthought but it is the other side of the headland for surf today!
It’s looking fun over there!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 13th April 2016

It looks as though we are in for another pleasant and bright day of two to three foot surf with light offshore winds.
the swell might open out as the day rolls on, not necessarily producing much bigger waves but maybe just a little stronger and more lined up.
it could just be another great day of springtime surfing!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Clean and glassy, bright conditions look settled enough for the next few days.
Those glassy conditions of Monday afternoon will be replaced by light offshores and brighter weather as we go through Tuesday and into midweek, the size of the surf dropping to small through Tuesday before rebuilding into midweek.
But the swell should thicken and become more solid as we go along, not necessarily just bigger but more organised, more lined up and hollower.
So a good start to the week is waiting for us with three feet and more of offshore shaped surf becoming glassier and then turning into smaller but clean and fun-in-the-sun surf, before building again!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
