Constantine (3*):  3 to 4 feet

After a fabulously bright and gorgeous yesterday, that coastal fog has returned to cool things down, dampen the hedgerows and tone the colour palette back.
So a murky skyline is trying to block the view of the three to four feet of pleasant and fun looking waves that are tumbling ashore. A light nor’ westerly breeze is lightly crumbling and scuffing those playful waves but the tide will probably expose those waves to more breeze as it drops back.
So there should be some fun to be had but it’s unlikely to be all that great!

Harlyn (2*):  1 to 2 feet

A foot or two of fun looking but small and lazy looking little waves are tipping onto the high tide bank at Harlyn this morning, a long wait between sets probably confusing the drive-by surf checking commuters – it does look flat, flat between sets.
The breeze is lightly onshore and so those little waves are a little crumbly here too.
So, again, it’s not that great but there are some little ones spilling in.

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 16th May 2018

A north easterly breeze is going to make the air feel colder today while helping to shape and hollow the small but hopefully prettily shaped little waves that should be gliding through.
You might be reaching for a longboard or Fish or something a little more forgiving today but it should be fun regardless.
And let’s hope that the seamiest clears!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

A mild and pleasant week lies ahead with the promise of some fine weather and, eventually some very summerish surf.
To start though we will be enjoying more north westerly breezes, only light but fresh enough to crumble the three feet or so of rolling swell.
The sunshine should help to make those waves a little more enticing, while the growing spring tides will do their bit to help too!
By midweek we mighty just be settling into a very pleasant stretch of clear nd bright weather with light offshore breezes from the south east, as well as a small but pretty and evenly spaced little swell.
And that might just take us through the weekend and beyond!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
