Constantine (3*):  3 feet

Dark clouds are grouping out on the horizon on an otherwise very bright and pleasant brightly moonlit morning.
The air is still, that dawn light mixing with the superbright full moon hanging over the Reef, moodily highlighting the shimmering sea as two to three feet of glassy swell lines cruise to the beach.
It is all very gentle and pleasant but I’m guessing that that will all change soon enough!

Harlyn (1*):  1 foot

Small waves are gently folding themselves onto the high tide sand at Harlyn this morning, a foot of dawn and moon-lit silver waves snapping ashore, barely rideable but no less attractive for that.
The other side has the surf for a minute but we’ll be back around here by tea time I reckon!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 16th October 2019

Westerly winds are going to make a mess of the thick and rolling, building swells that will be crashing ashore today.
It’s looking like a Harlyn day all day today, three feet to start with four to five feet and better shape by evening.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

We have another windswept week of onshore blown and biggish surf to look forward to after a quieter start on Monday.
Monday is promising light offshore breezes to groom a decent two to three feet of smooth swell as it glides into the bays but make the most of the calm and smooth conditions, westerly winds will soon be blustering our way again!
By Tuesday the wind will be driving a lot of dampness to start the day as it messes and chops the four feet of bumpy swell. But the skies should soon brighten and Harlyn should start to show some shape as the wind backs more to the south west.
And that should be the way of it for the rest of the week, that thick and lumpy swell bumping into the bays all week long, getting quite big for a day or so midweek and then even bigger at the end of the week.
So, another wet and windy week of growing surf at Harlyn awaits us!
Have great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
