There’s a deep cloud cover above us on this otherwise warm and pleasant morning, the air is still and filled only with birdsong and the swoosh and bang of peeling waves.
That surf is smaller than yesterday but there’s still a decent couple to three feet of curling and peeling, smooth and glassy waves zipping to the beach, the set waves way bigger but a long, long way apart. At least that gives us older guys a chance for an easier paddle back out, eh!
It is all a bit more high summer than low autumn at the moment and it looks like we might have a whole week of it!   

Harlyn (3*):  1 to 2 feet  

The leaden air is still and calm over at Harlyn this morning, the already busy beach bustling with barking dogs and yelling owners, unusually early for their morning stint.
Two feet of glassy and snappy little surf is pouncing onto the sand on the dropping tide, the very occasional much bigger set taking too long to appear and letting people go before spinning those hollow righthanders off the Rock.
The incoming tide should make it more consistent but the other side is really the place to go for some much better surf again today!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 16th September 2020  

A light north easterly breeze will dip those air temperatures today but it is still likely to be warm and dry and those little two foot waves should continue to peel and shimmy their way ashore.   

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Anyone who managed to squeeze a lot minute getaway into this week are going to be well rewarded!
The weather looks fabulous as a second wave of summer hits down on us re-warming the bays and cheering up those skies.
With a little bit of storm activity out in the Atlantic we should be seeing some consistent swell all week long too.
Starting out in the three to four foot range that offshore breezes will manicure those swells into something a little bit special.
As the wind eases through midweek, the smaller waves will be more glassy and fun than hollow and reeling.
And then the offshores will return as a new swell pounds our way just in time for the weekend!
We have loads of wax on the shelves and plenty of replacement leashes along with ding repair resins and a huge variety of fins if you need them!!
