Hello November and thank You October!
What a fabulous month of weather and surf we had, filled with clean waves and settled weather! And it looks set to continue into November, well for a day or two at least!
Today is as fabulous as any of those others too with a magical lightshow explosion of a dawn over there and that milky white blue sky over here!
The surf has dropped but it is still absolutely gorgeous looking. A foot or two of glass sculpted waves are wrapping onto that pre-hightide bank, spinning peeling, little curlers off to the beach. It’s only a foot or occasionally two but it does look appealing.
And that looks like the way of it for the rest of the day, sheet glass peelers, waist high and curling all day long!

Harlyn (1*):  1 foot.

Tiny little waves are marching ashore here this morning, that fiery sunrise of dawn throwing golden rays down the valley to reflect on them.
It is only six inches to a foot tall but that little surf is looking attractive!
But the other side is the place to go again for a fun little glide today!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 2nd November 2016

Ah, that surf is weakening, hopefully still managing to trickle through but only very small at best.
If we can get some knee to hip high gliders in that ongoing sunshine then we’ll be happy!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Clean and smart surf conditions look set to take us into another week of gliding across smooth and peeling waves!
That high pressure system is likely to continue to hug us tightly well into the middle of the week, allowing small and sculptured surf to peel its way to our shores.
Starting out in the two to three feet range we should see a magical pulse of swell to start the week, maybe even getting into the four feet range but then those little waves are likely to settle back to only a foot or maybe two again by midweek, the wind continuing to breeze lightly in, offshore from the south east.
It looks like it will be the end of the week before we see some proper autumn thick swell rolling our way!
In the meantime we can enjoy a week of small wave gliding and we might even see some little glimpses of clear and sunny skies too!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
