Constantine (2*):  1 to 2 feet

A calm and pleasant, still morning is unfolding about us this morning, a small wave rolling gently ashore a couple of hours ahead of high tide.
The gaps of blue between those larger expanses of silver and darker clouds are warm and welcome but you kind of get the feeling that a downpour or two aren’t that far away.
In the meantime there’s a foot or two of glassy, peeling waves shimmering in on the early morning tide.

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

There’s no surf around here to ride this morning, tiny little wavelets are teasingly peaking before disappearing again.
It is another great day for a paddle here but you’re not going to get any surf!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 28th June 2017

The same teasing one to one and a half feet of close together swells are going to be washing ashore but with a fresher but still reasonably light west north westerly wind pushing those little waves over too soon.
That breeze is going to feel cooler too.
Did I mention the showers as well?

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Small and close together little waves are as much as we can expect to enjoy at the start of this week, the breeze starting out light and only very slowly increasing in strength as we go along.
By midweek we should be seeing that foot or two of swell from the start of the week turn into a half decent couple to three feet and then getting bigger by the end of the week.
The wind though is going to strengthen from the west north west before settling from the north through the end of the week, bringing chillier temperatures while ruining the surf.
The weekend is looking bigger but with westerly winds to make for lumpy Harlyn conditions.
So, a mixed old week but with a few surfing opportunities if you’re keen enough but those sharp and clean (and warm and sunny!) conditions of last week are now just a memory, it seems as though this Summer has had a re-boot back to normality!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
