Constantine (1*):  0 to 1 foot

A pleasantly still and calm, lightly overcast morning is blanketing the bays this morning, with only the tiniest of waves gliding onto the beaches.
The surf is barely rideable but one or two early birds are giving it a go and getting the odd shin high shimmy to the beach.
Well, it is summer!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

The air is absolutely still at Harlyn this morning, the hiss and wash of tiny ripples echoing across the sand.
There are no waves to ride here today but it will be a fabulous place for a paddle or swim!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 4th August 2021

Another calm and still, pleasant day promises to show us some small but more rideable surf today. Our main breaks will be no more than a foot or two but it should be a clean and fun foot or two, especially if you time it right.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Light onshores are likely to last well into midweek this week, making for sloppy and crumbly surf conditions. Add that to the tiny little windswell that is the most that we can expect as we launch our way into high summer and you can see that it’s not looking like the most inspirational week for surfing.
But by the time we get into the back half of the week we should be seeing some chunky and beefy waves thumping onto our shores.
The wind is likely to stay onshore but hopefully backing more to the south west, allowing Harlyn to shine too!
But that isn’t until Thursday or Friday.
Before then we have to endure only a foot or two of sloppy, choppy and bumpy little surf.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
