Constantine (3*): 3 feet
Sheet rain is falling vertically on this almost windless morning with sky, sea and land merging into one wall of grey and murky wetness.
And somehow it is still cosy and comforting, a snuggly place to be for a moment or two.
The surf is okay too, the high tide fattening two to three feet of lumpy peaks, that rain falling so hard that it’s almost flattening some of the smaller waves. But there are some real fun looking little walls zipping across the high tide banks too.
Give it a couple of hours and it could be good!
Harlyn (2*): 2 feet
Small swell lines are pushing through the heavy gloom of heavy early morning downpours at Harlyn this morning, the rain almost flattening some of the smaller waves as they explode onto the sand in the grey and murky stillness.
It is quite beautiful in a dull and damp but calm and peaceful kind of way and some of those set waves are very glideable too, especially on a longer board.
The real surf is on the other side of the headland this morning but high tide is showing some tempting ones here if you’re keen!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 5th June 2019
Westerly going north westerly breezes are going to put some lumpiness into the three feet of more localised windswell today.
We should get some waves to ride but it’s not looking great!
Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week
A breezy week lies ahead with those light sou’ westerlies of Monday becoming gusting southerlies by Tuesday, blowing fresher and from the west through Wednesday before calming through the end of the week.
Those onshore should continue to support the four feet or so of lumpy swell that will be rolling our way all week, that swell peaking in size on Monday and again on Wednesday.
And so Harlyn is likely to be the surf destination of choice locally this week with fun surf suitable for just about everybody!
And how much is that water warming up! It’s summer suit time for sure and we have a shop full of them!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
