Another chilly morning is only slowly brightening, that north westerly wind continuing to cool the air temperature while the grey, cloud-laden sky weighs down heavily.
And the surf is chopped and slopped again, a couple to three feet of windblown and messy surf is rolling in, mixed up and unpredictable and all dark and broody looking.
The weather should cheer up alter but the surf is likely to stay a mess!

A foot or so of onshore slopped and mushy surf is washing in here today, all mixed up and directionless again.
The other side is small enough (and choppy enough!) today but it’s not as flat as here!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 10th August 2016

Hey, guess what!?
Yep, north westerly winds will be chopping and messing a foot or two of weak and powerless surf. The weather is likely to be mainly fine but probably a bit mixed too!
This Summer really could do with brightening up! And that might just happen over the weekend.

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

Northerly winds are likely to plague us again as a thick and solid summer swell rolls our way to start the week. And those winds, although easing in strength, are likely to stay with us for most, if not all of the week.
But the weather should be just about okay for most of the time and the surf should be fun for most of the time as well, only gradually weakening off as the week rolls by.
These summer weeks are the ones when you hone your fitness levels and sharpen your reflexes by riding those unpredictable, windblown swells that are often twitchy and uncertain with bowling and intense little sections at the same time!
It is definitely worth having an appropriate extra board or two for these summer conditions!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
