It’s another beautiful looking day out there but the wind is whistling down the coast from the north east, a chill and clawing wind that is making things chilly this early morning.
And the surf is flat.
If you can duck out of the wind you should have yourself a beaut of a day but you don’t want to be paddling in this wind and there are no waves to ride, so what is there to do? I guess that there is that kite surfing thing or windsurfing.
Do people still do all that?

It’s as flat as flat can be here today.
That blast freezer of a wind is screaming into the bay as well this morning, keeping temperatures down. Otherwise it would be a proper scorcher. It’s going to be one of those sunglasses with a blanket kind of days today, if you’re out of the wind then you’ll scorch but if not, you will want some layers!

Surf Forecast for Thursday 11th June 2015

The surf is looking flat again and that wind is set to continue to blast from the east carrying on that chilly wind effect.
I’m guessing that it might just haze over as we go along too, a little bit of cloud cover adding to the mix later on.
It might be a good time for a road trip?

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

We seem to have entered a bit of a doldrums period this week, the edge of that high pressure just about over us creating those chilling winds and helping to keep the surf flat. And it looks like it will be Friday before the wind changes.
But change it will and inevitably, as the wind slips to the south west, a warmer but damper direction, the weather will become more unsettled.
The surf still isn’t looking all that promising either, although that wind should at least push a little windslop our way for the weekend.
So, a few days of flatness have still to be endured before we enjoy some weak and sloppy waves to play in.
And it could be a good few days before we see something better to surf too!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
