One of those especially gorgeous mornings is spreading its shiny brightness along the coast this morning, the air still, the sky clear and the sea as smooth as silk.
Unfortunately though, the surf is pretty much flat!
Half a foot or so of immaculately shaped and gleaming cylinders of water are spinning in the shallows but they might not be strong enough to float a surfboard on!
We might just get a ripple big enough to slide a long, longboard on an hour or so ahead of high tide but that’s not definite.
But it really is a gorgeous morning, so that might just make up for the flatness of the sea!

The largest infinity pool in the world has parked itself here this morning, a smoothness of unruffled water stretching to the horizon.
It would be a shame to create a splash in that sea of smoothness this morning!

Surf Forecast for Thursday 20th April 2017

Another pleasant day of fine weather and calm conditions awaits, the surf expected to be flat, the sea smooth and the weather superb.

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

Small and weak little windswells were plaguing us throughout last week as those North Westerly winds blew their chill air our way, not doing much to support any little swells while ruining the wave shapes.
But this week we should be seeing some much cleaner conditions, the wind having switched to the East and South East, offshore at all of our main breaks.
So, smooth and clean conditions can be expected throughout this week as the kids reluctantly shuffle back to school for exams, summer sports and other summer term shenanigans.
With bright and sunny conditions expected throughout the week we can look forward to some super pleasant weather too!
And so it is a huge shame that there just isn’t going to be much around in the way of surf!
Small or tiny waves are going to be the most that we can hope for this week and even to find those we are going to have to watch the tides and charts and then hope for some luck too!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
