Constantine (4*):  4 feet

It’s a damp and misty, murky and mizzly old start to the day but it’s mild enough and cosy enough. And the surf is pumping!
Three to four feet of wedging and curling peaks are cresting into Booby’s, standing tall before spinning off to the beach, most of them as wide as they’re tall and spilling and peeling all the way in.
There are those occasional much bigger clean-up sets washing through too.
Yep, it’s looking good again!

Harlyn (2*):  0 to 3 feet

On first glance it looks flat at Harlyn this morning but give it a moment and the occasional couple of feet close-out comes washing through. Give it even longer and the odd one wave set of head high glass is exploding onto the sand.
The incoming tide should push some more shape and consistency into it all maybe by lunchtime.
But the other side is going off again this morning!

Surf Forecast for Thursday 23rd January 2020

Smaller waves will be peeling across the sand today, that same light offshore breeze whispering in from the east along with more cloud again. But otherwise it should be calm and mild with a decent couple of feet of pretty little surf to play in.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Those of us who have had to put up with the last few months of incredibly tedious weather without giving in to the Indo temptation are about to cash-in our rewards this week!
Light offshore breezes will be manicuring and soothing a lumping great groundswell as it pushes and growls its way onto our jagged and ragged stretch of coast.
Big waves, bright sunshine, calm breezes and clear skies should sooth our surf aching desires all week long.
So just wax down your quiver of favourite boards, chuck your wetsuit in the dryer and head for your favourite surf break. It should be pumping all week long!
(Legal warning!: Constantinesurf does not advocate the use of heat generating drying devices in the care or maintenance of any wetsuit (Ooh! But it is nice to slip into a warm and toasty dry suit in winter though, isn’t it!?!)).
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
