The air is fresh, the sky is blue and there’s barely a breeze down in the bay this morning, a couple of feet or so of ruffled and lightly crumbled surf rolling onto the golden sand.
It is a pretty fabulous day again with temperatures expected to soar through the twenties with barely a breeze even through the afternoon when you would expect the sea breeze effect to clear the air.
If you have the time then today could mostly be spent riding those small but fun looking little waves today but keep the sunblock handy and take it easy – it’s going to be a hot ‘un!
Harlyn (0*): 0 to 1 foot
Tiny waves are spilling onto the sand as the tide drops back at Harlyn this morning, that cloudless sky being reflected by the warm looking deep blue sea.
The other side of the headland is the place to go for some better surf today but for the first time in a while there are some almost rideable waves breaking!

More sunny summer weather is going to compliment the two to three feet of offshore breeze shaped waves that we have all been waiting for!
A slowly building swell should start showing itself on the afternoon tidal push as the wave period strengthens, the breeze going more southerly and strengthening a little into the evening.
The surf could just be really good today!
Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week
Another fabulous week of great weather with high temperatures and plenty of summer sunshine is waiting for us again this week but we are going to have to wait for a few days more before the surf starts to become more interesting!
Before then we have two or three or four days of calm and summery weather with more small but super clean little surf to play in. One to two feet of surf is going to be the most that we can hope for through the first half of this week but that should be enough to tempt us all in to have plenty of fun.
And the back half of the week is starting to look way more interesting than it has for some time!
