A fabulously bright and calm, proper summer’s day is spreading its warmth along the coastline this morning, a breath of a breeze drifting out to sea beneath the bluest of blue skies.
And a foot or two of deep blue waves are peaking and peeling onto that yellow sand, the easterly breeze drifting up those small wave faces.
It is promising to be a wonderful day at the beach today whether you surf, swim, walk or just be!
If you can, you should!

There are no waves here today again but that doesn’t take away from the beauty of of it all.
A mirror of smoothness is reaching for the far horizon, a deep blue ocean beckoning to be paddled or swum.
It is promising to be a fabulous day here but if you want to surf then you will have to find a more westerly facing beach.
And it’s only going to be small there!

Surf Forecast for Thursday 6th July 29017

Those calm breezes are going to swing onshore through midday with the sea breeze effect on another warm and sultry, sunny one.
But the surf is likely to have all but disappeared today.
You might just get a tiny peeling peak to glide across at just that right stage of tide but you’re going to have to be lucky or have the time to wait.
And wait!

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

As the wind eases and switches offshore through midweek, of course, the swell is likely to start to disappear!
A blip of high pressure should settle over us for the back half of the week, allowing super calm and warm conditions to prevail. But it might just get a little too warm for itself too, watch out fro the odd downpour amongst some exciting thunderstorms!
But midweek is likely to bring tiny little surf at best, only slowly building as the wind returns to onshore through Friday and into the weekend.
But we should still be able to enjoy some small but clean surfing along with some very decent weather for at least a day or two, so grab the longboards and get ready to glide in the sunshine!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
