Constantine (0*): Flat
It’s a calm and still, tranquil morning down in the bay this morning with barely a breath of wind to stir the marram but barely any movement in the sea either!
The surf is as flat as flat can be, the sea a smooth surface of turquoise and silver this morning, an irresistible temptation of an infinite infinity pool.
The deep dark sky is brightening slowly from the land, a promise of a light and cheerful day ahead.
Fancy a SUP paddle anyone?
Harlyn (0*): Flat
It’s as smooth as a late night cocoa here this morning, a rippleless pond of oilly glass stretching to the dark horizon. There’s nothing here for a surfer today but the paddle brigade should have a great time!
Today’s Tide Times:
Low Tide: 20:08 (2.5m) High Tide: 13:18 (5.8m)
Surf Forecast for Tuesday 8th September 2015
And the flatness goes on!
Another day of gentle offshores, bright enough weather and flat surf conditions awaits.
If you do decide to go for a SUP session today, it might be worth remembering that the wind is offshore and can be a bit of a nuisance to paddle against when you’re tired from drifting down the coast for a while!
Not that that has ever happened to me mind……
Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week
That High Pressure system looks as though it has finally wrestled control of our weather from those shallow fronts of the last week or two and so we should be in for a period of settled, calm and very pleasant weather.
But be careful of what you wish for because this time around the sea is going to be calm and settled too!
It looks as though we are in for a period of flatness lasting for at least a couple of days as we go into this week.
So we should be enjoying light offshore winds, plenty of September sunshine but a sea of flatness.
Until midweek anyway.
And then it should be fabulous!
The back half of the week is looking very classy indeed!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
