Constantine (4*):  3 feet plus

A beautiful dawn is spreading its warmth and brightness all along the Cornish coast this morning, a cosy mist clinging to the hedgerows as late summer sunshine gradually filters through. And a very pleasant three feet or so of glassy and peeling surf is gliding smoothly into the bays. The air is till, the sun is warm and the waves are growing! You might just want to slip away for a surf at some time today.

Harlyn (1*):  0 to 1 foot

The air is still at Harlyn this morning with only small waves crashing onto the low tide sand. That late summer sun is shining beautifully through the mist in the valley and the sea is a mirror of smoothness. But all the surf is over the other side of the headland today with only a few tiny close-outs managing to swing into the bay.

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 15th September 2021

That beautifully smooth long range swell should continue to roll our way well into today, the breeze remaining calm and offshore until early afternoon before the sea breeze effect draws an onshore westerly breeze in.
but overall, we should be enjoying another bright and cheerful, surf filled day all day long!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

A thumping great low pressure system has been cruising up the North Atlantic and will be pulsing swells our way for the next few days.  And those swells are going to be greeted by mainly light offshore breezes, maybe going more southerly and strengthening later in the week but still providing those early morning sessions and late evening glass-offs too.
So, we are looking forward to a week of excellent surf with smooth swells and big gaps between those silky waves staring on Tuesday with an expected three to five foot swell, south easterly breezes and maybe even a little sunshine too!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
