Constantine (4*):  3 to 4 feet

A bright and breezy morning is greeting an already half full car park of keen but wind chilled and sleepy little surf enthusiasts huddling in their distinct socially distanced groups this morning, that cold breeze fluttering offshore to meet a decent head high and well spaced out little swell.
The tide is tumbling towards high quite quickly but the sun is shining and the surf is reeling in. Then again it does look as though we should have a day of it today.

Harlyn (2*):  2 to 3 feet

The breeze is onshore at a deserted Harlyn this morning, a couple or three feet of lazy surf tumbling ashore almost unnoticed beneath the early morning sunshine.
The other side is so much better today but there are little waves here if it’s your only option.

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  14:50  (1.8m)              High Tide:  20:45  (6.2m)

Forecast for Saturday 20th March 2021

Light breezes shouldn’t affect the three foot swell too much today, that swell should be solid enough with a mid teens wave period.
Throw in a decent amount of early spring sunshine and we have the makings of a very fine day ahead of us!

Conditions for the Weekend

This first weekend of Spring promises to offer a very springlike feel with good surf, fine weather and mild enough temperatures.
Saturday’s light onshore breezes shouldn’t have too much effect on the three foot surf, that groundswell having travelled a long way and absorbed a lot of energy before exploding onto our favourite surf breaks.
The surf is likely to be smaller by Sunday morning but hopefully the breeze will be just about offshore. So that light, if chilly, north easterly breeze should be manicuring those little waves into immaculate shaped little surf, offering blissful rides to the longboard crew and fat board riders.
It promises to be a fine weekend with enough surf to keep those who have safe access happy enough.
And hopefully it won’t be long until Covid restrictions are fully lifted and we can all relax back into that way of life that we prefer.
In the meantime stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
