Constantine (4*):  8 to 10 feet

That big, fat Snow Moon is floating over the Quies this morning in an otherwise clear and creamy blue sky, the air still, the bay glinting with the lightest dusting of frost, the atmosphere electric.
Because the surf is BOOMING!
Double overhead and bigger waves are exploding into the bay, peaking and reeling off the Reef and standing tall as they wall across the Slab.
Seabirds are shrieking for their breakfast as those big waves thunder ashore and you just can’t help but think that it doesn’t get much more gorgeous than this!

Harlyn (4*):  4 to 6 feet

There’s not much social distancing going on in the Harlyn carpark this morning with the front and side rows already crammed and crushed, those random spaces filling quickly!
The reason being – the surf is pumping!
The dropping tide is warping and pulling the four to five feet of pulsing surf as it throws itself into some long and almost peeling righthanders with overhead hollows screaming off the Rock, that peak down the beach doing an almost French beach break impression.
This afternoon’s tide should throw up some hollow treasures!

Today’s Tide Times:

Forecast for Saturday 28th February 2021

This magical weekend should continue through today with that smooth and even six foot swell pulsing steadily onto all of our surf breaks and some decent, settled sunshiny weather cheering us all up after this longest of winters.

Conditions for the Weekend

High pressure is easing its way above us for this penultimate lockdown weekend, promising calm winds, bright skies and pumping surf!
With deep and active low pressure systems lurking out in the Atlantic we can expect more thick and wintery groundswells to be driving onto our shores throughout the weekend, six to eight feet of powerful surf pounding our way throughout Saturday, dropping only slightly through Sunday.
Saturday is probably going to be a little more testing with much smoother conditions everywhere for Sunday.
But remember, we are still in lockdown, so if you have to travel for it, well, maybe you shouldn’t?
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
