The beach is basking in frost glinting glory again this morning, that clear pale winter’s sky stretching from one horizon to the other while the silver blue smoothness of the sea stretches to infinity.
There’s hardly any surf though, maybe a shin to knee high cruiser on the push of the tide but that’s about your lot.
‘Tis beautiful though!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

Harlyn is silent this morning, even the seabirds seem to be having a little restful moment.
The beach is swathed in a bling of crystal frost while the sea smoothly shivers in the early morning glint of a midwinter’s chill.
There’s no surf which only adds to the peace but what a spot to just take a moment.

Forecast for Sunday 10th January 2021

The breeze is looking to settle onshore today, only blowing gently but enough to slop the tiny surf.
Otherwise it’s still going to be cold and fresh and bright and wintery.
So, what to do today in the middle of this weird little lockdown with conditions?

Conditions for the Weekend

A frost sharp and bitterly cold weekend awaits as more north easterly breezes chill and freeze the air.
With only tiny waves expected, I’m guessing that only the keenest are going to be prepared to clamber in to glide across a few knee high peelers. And that only if you pick the right moment, just as the tide pushes onto those sandbars or rocks or any shallow bits.
But the sky should stay clear and bright all weekend allowing a good old escape from confinement if you have access!
Stay safe, stay happy and stay well wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
