Constantine (2*):  2 feet

The milk blue sky is crystal clear on this bright and frosty winter’s morning, a foot or two of sheet glass surf sparkling and twinkling in that early morning sun.
Yep, it is a beautiful morning here as the rest of this crazy little world seems to be spinning itself into a riot of despair.

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

If you want to just chill and relax, Harlyn is the place to be this morning.
There’s no surf here today but the sea is smooth and still and gorgeous, while the air is sharp and cold and fresh.
When I say chill though, I really do mean CHILL – the sand is frozen hard as the thermometer reads -3degC.

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  18:00  (2.2m)              High Tide:  11:26  (6.4m)

Forecast for Friday 8th January 2021

These north easterly breezes are keeping the air temperatures really low, bringing that fresh and frosty air all the way down from those cold far off spots.
But they will also be smoothing and shaping a foot or two of deep blue waves as they peak and peel across frost hardened sand.
You either love it or hate it I guess!

Conditions for the Weekend

A frost sharp and bitterly cold weekend awaits as more north easterly breezes chill and freeze the air.
With only tiny waves expected, I’m guessing that only the keenest are going to be prepared to clamber in to glide across a few knee high peelers. And that only if you pick the right moment, just as the tide pushes onto those sandbars or rocks or any shallow bits.
But the sky should stay clear and bright all weekend allowing a good old escape from confinement if you have access!
Stay safe, stay happy and stay well wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
