Constantine (2*):  3 to 4 feet

A light frost is twinkling beneath bright sunlight on another calm morning down in the bay, the breeze from the South West, onshore and feeling milder but it’s barely noticeable – yet.
With a fairly close together little three foot swell gliding smoothly onto the sand there are some glassy and fun looking little waves to ride.
Make the most of it though, this weather is about to change!

Harlyn (2*):  0 to 2 feet

Smooth and snappy little waves are slapping hard against the sand as the tide slowly drifts back to a very high low at Harlyn this morning, the sou’ westerly breeze drifting offshore here.
There should be some clean and pleasant little waves all day here before that wind starts to blow hard by tonight. And then we’ll see a fairly quick increase in size and power!

Forecast for Wednesday 10th March 2021

Sou’ westerly winds are going to be gusting into our bays today, throwing plenty of wetness our way with temperatures feeling much milder.
And so the swell is going to build as we go through the day, Harlyn being the destination of choice for some fun surf locally all day long.

Conditions for the Rest of the Week

Onshore winds are quickly going to blow away those settled, if cold conditions of the start of the week, bringing back plenty of wild and rugged weather our way for the rest of the week.
The wind is likely to strengthen overnight on Tuesday, freshening through Wednesday but maybe calming just a little by the evening. But then an even harder blow will build and last for several days bringing some torrential rain as it pulls and tugs at our coastline.
And those hard blowing, onshore winds are going to push a lot of big and wild surf our way but, as always, limiting the number of places that will be in any way surfable in a fun kind of way.
Harlyn is going to be the obvious place but there will be one or two other, lesser known breaks both up and down the coast that might just provide some good conditions too.
Don’t forget though, travel restrictions are still in place, this thing is not over yet!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
