Constantine (3*):  3 to 4 feet

The lightest of breezes is whispering offshore beneath a silver sky of silky mist this morning, sets of four foot waves reeling off that high tide peak by the Rip.
It’s cosy and snuggly and the surf is still booming in a quieter kind of way.
Once the tide eases back it should all smooth out and sharpen up.
Another great day lies ahead!

Harlyn (3*):  2 to 3 feet

High tide is absorbing the smaller but still big enough waves at Harlyn this morning, the headland frustratingly trying to form a Point Break but not quite managing it.
Once the tide rolls out we should see something much snappier and fun.
And the sky is likely to be brighter by then too!

Forecast for Thursday 4th March 2021

It is likely to feel a little chillier this morning as the breeze eases back through the compass to a ,ore north easterly direction. And that is the cold direction!
But it is still going to be only very light and it is still going to be offshore. So we should continue to enjoy more of that same three to four foot swell as the skies clear and that gorgeous early spring sunshine bathes us all in hope.

Conditions for the Start of the Week

A very pleasant week of sunshine filled skies and light offshore breezes should ease the burden of a hopefully gradually easing lockdown period, if only a little.
The surf should be excellent all week long, gradually reducing in size as the week goes on but still very surf able all the way through.
Add to that lots of clear skies and mainly bright and sunny weather and we have what would normally be a perfect beach time. But of course with current covid restrictions still applying we do all have to continue to be that extra bit careful, especially when some sort of ending seems to be almost within reach.
Anyway, the only other fly in the ointment is likely to be the dropping temperatures through the back half of the week. It might continue to be sunny but those breezes are going to feel cold!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
