Constantine (3*):  3 feet

A pleasant, glassy little swell is rolling into the bays beneath the blue ribboned greyness of a calm winter’s morning this morning, the air still and filled with the screech of hungry seabirds.
Three feet or so of crunchy looking but smooth faced surf is crashing ashore, some bigger sets peaking an interest on the reefs and point – if you have the patience.
With an easterly, offshore breeze being forecast and that rhythmic swell consistently pushing in, I think that a very pleasant day of surf riding lies ahead for everyone!

Harlyn (2*):  1 to 2 feet

Harlyn is quiet this morning with only a foot or very occasionally two of glassy and snappy little surf cracking onto the sand.
The tide is still dropping so you have to think that the surf will build a little on the turn, offering something a little more fun on this afternoon’s tide.
Other than that, it is a pleasant place to spend a bit of time having a mooch about!

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  10:33 (1.9m)              High Tide:  16:24  (6.7m)

Surf Forecast for Saturday 18th December 2021

High pressure is continuing to dominate our weather this weekend, providing light offshore breezes blowing steadily from the east all day long today.
Combine that with a couple to three feet of teen level wave-period swell and it looks like we should be enjoying another very pleasant day of surfing!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

High pressure is settling over us for the entirety of this weekend, bringing light offshore breezes and calm, settled weather while that steady swell continues to pulse our way.
Those well travelled swells will be rhythmically beating their way to our shores for the next few days at least, the offshore breezes grooming that mid-teens wave period surf into something quite special!
It does look as though we are in for a very pleasant period of quality surf with some solid swell and perfect conditions lasting all the way through the weekend at least.
That water temperature is starting to drop noticeably though, so it’s a good job that our shop is stocked with lovely warm wetsuits and stuff.
Have you seen those Wetty boots yet? They are cosy and warm (but selling fast!)!!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
