At 7.20 a.m:

Constantine (0*):  6 to 8 feet

A noisy nor’ westerly blow is chilling the air this morning while pushing and jostling four to six feet of grey and wintery looking junked out surf.
It’s a windswept, chilly and lonesome place to be this morning with nothing much to surf on.
South Coast anyone?

Harlyn (0*):  3 to 4 feet

That cool, noisy wind is blustering into Harlyn this morning as well, tipping and toppling the already chopped up and messy three to four feet of grey surf.
There’s not much going on here this morning but it’s still a cool place to just be.

Surf Forecast for Saturday 19th November 2022

The wind has promised to drop to a breeze today, starting out chilly and from the north, easing to a breeze and backing sou’ westerly by lunchtime.
Throw in some very pleasant sunshine and we have the makings of a fab afternoon surfing smaller but still very fun and clean waves at Harlyn!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A weekend of two halves is waiting for us this weekend, the wind conditions, as always, deciding what we’re going to be doing and where we’re going to be doing it!
The wind is likely to drop to a breeze while it backs south westerly through Saturday morning, cleaning up the surf at Harlyn by lunchtime maybe.
With a four foot, windblown swell still rolling along our coast we should see some fun and clean three foot surf crunching into Harlyn by mid-afternoon, the sun shining down and air temperatures soothing (for the time of year!).
Sunday will see a westerly wind blowing fresh into the bays, pushing a new swell our way as it drags a mix of dampness and brightness onto our beaches.
Harlyn will be our best local option again today but the wind will be blowing fresh across the bay making for lumpy conditions, while the waves build in size.
With barely a three metre neap tidal range this weekend, the tide will have less effect. So it’s going to be more a matter of timing the winds to get the best out of it.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
