Constantine (3*):  3 to 4 feet

We are enjoying a fiery sunburst dawn over on the far horizon this morning as sheets of torrential rain dowse the bays, the air almost still in that early morning downpour.
And some chunky waves are driving in too with four feet of still wind-energised and hollow, grey waves draining off the end of the Reef. The breeze is set to ease offshore this afternoon, promising some good surf all the way along our craggedy little coastline!

Harlyn (3*):  2 to 3 feet

The breeze is lighter at Harlyn this morning, allowing the three feet of surf to be a little cleaner than it has been. But it still needs an offshore to smooth it, which should happen by lunchtime, maybe.
In the meantime, a couple of early morning swimmers are enjoying a bracing start to the day, in amongst those heavy downpours and frontlet by a fiery sunrise.

Surf Forecast for Saturday 21st January 2023

Ooh, how about a decent three foot swell with a 10 second wave period, rolling in against a light south easterly breeze!?
Okay, you got it!
And, if you’re really good there just might be some very pleasant winter sunshine to enjoy too!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Light offshore, south easterly breezes are likely to be grooming a very pleasant three foot swell as it gallops into our bays on Saturday, some long awaited winter sunshine wiping away those January Blues too. Every break along the north Cornish coast should light up today with promises of peaking and peeling, folding waves to glide across for all!
Sunday is promising a stronger push with that swell opening up and strengthening as it slowly builds.
The wind is forecast to freshen through the morning, remaining offshore, calming just a little with the afternoon’s pushing tide.
So, we can all expect a great weekend of fun surf with some more testing conditions on Sunday!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
