At 7.45 a.m:

Constantine (1*):  3 feet

Three feet or so of raggedy and bumpy but fairly clean faced, grey surf can just be seen through a sodden veil of wetness this morning.
It’s one of those damp and chilly as well as calm and peaceful mornings, a proper Cornish tramping kind of morning.

Harlyn (1*):  1 to 2 feet

There’s not a soul on the beach at Harlyn this morning, rain squalls squirting themselves across the bay as small, one to two foot waves dump themselves on the sand.
The breeze is only light but from the west and so crumbling those little waves.
There are other things to do today but if you’re keen and patient you might get a little slide in.

Surf Forecast for Saturday 4th February 2023

Light onshore winds are going to bump the three to four feet of surf tab our main breaks today making for one of those ‘bigger but sloppy main breaks versus real small but clean Harlyn’ days.

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A very definite weekend of two halves is promised as high pressure slowly nudges our way.
Saturday will offer ho-hum surf conditions with an expected three to four feet of swell being jostled by a westerly going south westerly breeze. Harlyn will be cleaner later but Constantine will be bigger but bumpier.
Sunday should offer us clean, offshore breezes manicuring a smooth rolling four feet or so of sunlit and reeling swell.
You might even need a little lip balm to save getting that wind/sun burn too!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
