A brilliant, bright and beautiful morning is quickly dissolving the light coating of crystal frost on the sand, the breeze a gusting, bone chilling south easterly, strong enough already to put some pace into your movement.
And the surf is pumping!
Four to six to eight feet of thick and growling waves are unfurling themselves into the bays, Booby’s drawing more than its fair share and turning those waves inside out in gratitude.
Yep, it is a fabulous, fabulous morning out there with loads of great surf breaking all along the coast.
So just choose your favourite spot, wax ‘em up and #gosurfnow!
Harlyn (2*): 3 feet.
The waves aren’t that great round here just yet with a deceptive looking three feet or maybe just a tiny bit bigger of wobbling and crumbly surf faltering onto the sand.
Give it an hour or two and it will all be hollower and heavier, that low tide dump throwing into sand sucking barrels.
And then those waves should increase in size as the tide rolls in later!

The winds should calm a little today, still blowing offshore but more from a direct easterly direction while the swells keep rolling in.
The waves are likely to be just a little smaller, more in the three to four feet range, at least allowing an easier paddle!
Surf Conditions for the Weekend
Brisk offshore winds are settling in for the start of the school half-term holidays, grooming smooth and attractively shaped waves, hollowing and shaping those curling waves.
Three to four feet, offshore and grinding on Saturday, easing to a couple of feet on Sunday through into Monday before building again as we go through the week.
Yep, it’s all looking good for weather and surf this weekend!
