Constantine (1*):  1 foot

Another fine and dry, blue skied day is quietly brightening up the bay this morning, that cold north westerly breeze being the only ongoing ‘fly in the ointment’.
You’re going to need a windbreak to fully enjoy the beach today and you’re going to need a longboard or foamie to fully enjoy that tiny surf.
There’s a foot or two of breeze ruffled ankle-snappers slapping the high tide sand right now, it will spread itself out as the tide drops but it is likely remain knee high at best today.

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

It’s an almost perfect morning for the early morning swim crew over at Harlyn, that north westerly breeze bringing a chill bite into the bay but there’s no surf at all to ride on.
The sky is clearing, the sea is ruffled but calming, the beach is almost empty and the birdsong is strong.
You’ll need a windbreak though!

Surf Forecast for Thursday 25th April 2024

We might just enjoy some slightly bigger surf today with knee to waist high waves expected but that same north westerly breeze ruffling and tussling it all. The clear skied sunshine will make it all a little more inviting but it’s still going to be barely worthwhile. Unless you’re a grom, or just getting into surfing, or have access to a longboard or a foamy and have some spare time to fill.
And then it could all be a little bit better than expected!

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

There’s not a lot going on out in the Atlantic that would generate much in the way of surf excitement this week but there are a few ‘high lows’ bumbling around out there and they could just throw a few little waves our way.
So the best that we are likely to see will probably be as a result of the afternoon, onshore seabreezes kicking up a foot or occasionally two of weak little foamie funsters. The tide will have a big part to play in that too, the afternoon push helping to provide a couple of little opportunities.
This could be our first ‘flat spell’ of the summer!!?
Let’s hope it only last for days rather than weeks eh!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have the very best week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
