Constantine (2*):  3 feet

A fabulous day is spreading brightness along the coast this morning, a light, light south westerly breeze just ruffling the marram beneath a deep blue endless sky.
And a couple to three feet of lazy looking surf is gliding into the bay, all a little crumbly and not that powerful looking but okay for a midday splash maybe.
That’s if you can work your way through the traffic for the Royal Cornwall Show over at Wadebridge, opening up this morning with the usual wonder of exhibitors and displays. What a great day to go and have a gander and hook up with old friends at the beer tent!

Harlyn (1*):  1 foot

Pretty little waves are tumbling ashore at Harlyn this morning, a foot or so of slow moving and smooth faced, sparkling blue little waves are tumbling and spilling ashore. But they are not really that surfable, especially as the tide starts to drop out.
If you have a big, big board and are keen enough you might enjoy a few but otherwise it’s the other side for some sloppy ones!

Surf Forecast for Friday 7th June 2019

Light breezes might start the day by drifting offshore but the waves are likely to be tiny at best, at least to start with.
Throw some damp weather into the mix and suddenly it might not be all that inviting!
But by evening we should start to see more surf appear, even if the wind does build and swing onshore by then.

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Westerly going south westerly winds are going to blow a mix of weather and surf conditions our way this weekend.
A blustery Saturday morning should see any showers blowing through quickly enough and giving way to one of those bright but breezy kind of days, a rolling four feet plus of raggedy surf pounding into the bays.
By Sunday the wind is likely to have quietened and eased its way back to the south west, at least allowing some clean shape at Harlyn as the size all but disappears.
So, bumpy and lumpy, windswept Harlyn should keep us busy through Saturday with smaller surf for Sunday providing a choice between sloppy but bigger west side breaks or much cleaner but small Harlyn!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
