Constantine (0*):  2 to 3 feet

This morning has already submitted to the mizzle and murk of another lo-viz kind of day, the wind lighter than yesterday but still gusting in from the west sou’ west.
The air temperature is mild for a damp and breezy day and that low cloud is kind of cosy but the surf is a rag tag of broken and choppy stuff bumbling into the bay.
Harlyn should be the place to go today but it’s probably going to be only small over there.
Cleaner but small.

Harlyn (2*):  2 feet

Clean little waves are snapping ashore at Harlyn this morning, the dropping tide pulling at those one to two foot waves.
The wind is almost offshore, a kind of side to offshore but still holding up those steep waves.
It is okay and should improve with this afternoon’s tide too.
And with only a bit of luck we should see some brighter weather by then too!

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  11:44  (1.6m)              High Tide:  17:37  (6.9m)

Surf Forecast for Friday 13th September 2019

The swell is likely to stretch out a little today with three feet of smoother, slightly longer wave period, rolling swell aiming our way.
The breeze is forecast to be offshore from the north east, a little chilly but great for the surf at our main breaks.
It’s all looking good!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A weekend of September sessions awaits!
With small but smooth and thick little swells aiming our way along with light offshore breezes and clear skies forecast, all of our favourite surf breaks should glisten and gleam throughout this weekend.
Friday’s excellent surf will drop in size for Saturday but there should still be a very decent couple of feet of smooth and glassy little waves to glide around on, those offshore breezes along with some bright, bright sunshine making it all even more tempting.
Although the waves will be quite small by Sunday, they should be smooth and even and just a little stronger than you might expect.
It might be worth grabbing a longboard or a ‘Softech’ or just something with more buoyancy to make the most of it all.
I’m off to sunny South Wales for the weekend, helping the W.C.S.C. to celebrate their 50th! On Friday 13th!? Uh oh!
Anyway, there won’t be a surfcheck for a few days until we recover!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
