The sky is clear, the sun is shining and there’s a half decent three feet plus of lightly slopped swell rolling into the bay this morning.
The tide is too high right now but give it a couple of hours and we should be enjoying some bright and pleasant, maybe not classic surf but certainly enough to be having loads of fun in.
Make the most of it though, we’ll be having showers at least by this evening!
Harlyn (3*): 2 to 3 feet
A pleasant enough couple of feet of early morning, lightly slopped little surf is rolling into high tide Harlyn beneath a clear blue sky this morning, a light onshore breeze not affecting things too much.
It looks like we have a pleasant and sunny reasonably surfy day ahead of us but it’s unlikely to last too long!

South westerly winds are likely to be blustering along our coastline today, pushing bundles of shower filled clouds as well as wide gaps of pleasant enough sunshine.
With a thick little four or five feet of swell being blown into our bays, Harlyn is likely to be the one that is shining brightest out of our local surf breaks, throwing a decent three feet or more of offshore breeze shaped, snappy little hollow ones.
Surf Conditions for the Weekend
A bright and breezy, showery weekend lies in wait this weekend with a blustery sou’ wester strengthening as we go along.
But that wind, as well as blowing some heavy little showers over us will also push a decent building swell our way. So Harlyn is likely to be our favourite surfing venue this weekend as that wind whistles offshore into that same swell that it has pushed across the Atlantic.
So Saturday should show a decent there to four fete of hollow and thick surf while Sunday will show some bigger conditions, building to overhead plus on the afternoon rising tide.
So, pack your favourite Flyer, don’t forget some wax and make sure that you remember a little sunblock too!
