Constantine (1*):  4 to 5 feet

There’s a cold bite of Winter in that gusting northerly wind this morning as white sea horses gallop into the bays across a dark and threatening, stormy grey sea.
Dawn is only hesitantly revealing something brighter, occasional streaks of blue prising the grey cloud banks apart.
But the surf is junk and it’s not even that big either with three or four, maybe just occasionally five feet of windswept and unpredictable chop bumbling around the bays.
It could be worth a little southcoast sufari though?

If your thoughts are turning to keeping warm as the sea temperature gradually drops, we do have some technically awesome DaKine winter wetsuits on the rails and online (www.constantinesurf.com!).
We also have a decent stock of Wetty wetsuit boots and others as well as this winter’s excellently warm and cosy, top end wetsuits but at very friendly prices from Alder! And loads more are on their way!
We have a good spread of Surfworx and Softech surfboards on offer from a couple of hundred quid as well as a range of more progressive boards from not much more than £400 ready for you to rip your way through this winter!
So click on over to check WWW.CONSTANTINESURF.COM and have a squint at our online offerings (we are gradually regenerating the site and uploading stock as we go along so it’s worth checking back as well!).

Harlyn (1*):  3 feet

That biting northerly wind is blasting into a deserted Harlyn Bay this morning, toppling and tumbling three feet or so of wintery grey, choppy waves.
It’s kind of a bleak and barren place to be this morning but no worse for that. You cam almost hear the bay breath after that hectic summer of trampled crush.
Not unlike ourselves!

Surf Forecast for Friday 3rd December 2021

Well it should be milder today, grey and damp around the edges but somewhere in the low to mid-teens temperature wise.
We are expecting a brisk west going south westerly wind to be gusting ashore all day, pushing up some bigger and more solid surf. So it could be worth a little look around Harlyn in the afternoon, the west facing breaks are going to be chopped out but we could just find a little nugget or two spinning off the Rock at Harlyn later.

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

North westerly winds are going to return to blow cold, cold air onto our coast throughout this weekend.
Any surf will be blown to shreds again, which is such a shame as there looks to be a little extra size to it all.
The south coast will be the only place to offer anything like clean surf but that wind will still be biting, so whether it will be good enough for the drive and then that paddle in a cold, cold wind, well….. Exactly how keen are you?
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
