Constantine (0*):  Flat

It’s all a little greyer this morning, slightly milder but lightly overcast and and still chilly enough. The waves are pretty much flat too with a few inches of sloppy little wavelets tumbling onto the sand here and there.
Otherwise, as ever, the bay is a peaceful place to hesitate for a moment in our suddenly unbusy lives.
It is quite sad to see so many holiday homes suddenly have cars outside along with the normal holiday paraphernalia of bodyboards, drying wetsuits and various beach toys.
I wonder if they are aware that there is very limited medicare available locally along with only one hospital in the entire Duchy with just a dozen or so ICU beds?

Surf Forecast for Saturday4th April 2020

The biggest change today is probably going to be a windshift to the south today. A light south easterly will be breezing offshore today with bright and sunny conditions too.
If there was going to be any surf it would be beautiful but it is very probably going to be flat.

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A milder airflow is going to be drifting over us as the wind shifts to the south for this weekend.
Light offshores are likely to smooth the sea on Saturday, a steady south easterly breeze feeling warmer in the spring sunshine. It’s a shame that the surf is likely to be flat though, starting to pick up through Sunday but only as the wind eases its way towards onshore.
As evening falls a blustery south westerly might be pushing a building three foot swell our way but it is also likely to be dragging a little drizzly rain our way too.
So a mixed weekend but with enough brightness to tease us out of our isolation for an enjoyable exercise period.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay home, wash your hands and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
